In this paper, the case of a 43-year-old male is reported, presenting with high fever five days after returning from a trip to Africa. Laboratory testing including microscopy and PCR confirmed Plasmodium malariae infection. The patient recovered following targeted antimalarial therapy. This case highlights the importance of early recognition of imported infections and collaboration with national public health authorities in non-endemic settings.
